The music the dance Wowed me to the max, Indesian Folklore is way more interesting than Thai. Way more deep. Im herading back for Thailand Laos Vietnam in low season 2011.

hahaha, i'd really like to perform this with my girlfriend, hahaha.... anyway, i really like the gamelan, especially when the male dancer comes out :D

"Tamulilingan" actually refers to a buzzing pollinating beetle which is similar in size and behavior to a bumblebee. I've heard two versions of what the dancers are supposed to represent - one is that the female dancer is a flower while the male is the tamulilingan; the other is that they are both tamulilingan.

What a pitty - nice dancers a fab gamelan, and then there are theese breaks. I would have enjoyed to see all of it.

Yes, it does mean princess, but many people share the title because it goes with a certain caste now. But, actually, Gusti Ayu has royal ancestry in the Javanese kingdom of Yogyakarta.
