A good old angsty video :)
I'd say, the only way to truly understand this video is to watch and listen closely to the lyrics but here's a prompt because in places the way I've interpreted it may confused others...

Marian chooses to marry Gisborne and leaves Robin broken hearted and despite trying, Robin finds that he cant move on as he's constantly thinking of her and the relationship they once had. Robin turns to alcohol to blot the memories out however no amount of alcohol actually cures his demons and eventually he drinks himself to death whilst clutching a note which simply says; "I'll love her till I die."

Marian is distraught for she actually did love him and Robin is buried in the forest by the gang, Marian feels guilty for causing Robins troubled mind and begins to think about their time together as well as how she couldnt quite be a proper wife to Guy as she always felt Robin watching and judging her so guilt for Robin stopped her trying with Guy. Her guilt continues to consume her, she keeps it to herself though when she's in her own safe isolation and no one realises how upset she actually is over Robins death. So, like Robin, she turns to alcohol by sneaking to the Tavern and, also like Robin, attempts to block the memories of the pair of them from her mind.

Marian purposefully provokes Guy until he snaps and stabs her, killing her like she wanted him to as she believes it's the only way to escape her demons and guilt. As she's dying, Marian thinks of the wedding and of how she was going to leave Guy because she realised she loved Robin however he pulled her back and threatened her until she gave in and married him. She dies clutching the engagement ring Robin gave to her before going to the Crusades and the gang decide she must have actually still loved him so bury her beside him in the forest.

I know the young girl is little Isabella and not little Marian but as there wasn't one - a shame, in my opinion - I decided to borrow her, much to my annoyance as I find her incredibly frustrating due to her sheer gormlessness!

But moving on before I change my mind; I have to say this is the most happy I've been with a video. I heard the song ya couple of days ago and fell utterly in love with it. I hope the storylines not too confusing, I know there are quite a few moments where I've changed the words to mean metaphors but I *think* its all worked out in the end.

Okay, I have chills running down my spine! That was brillant. I love that song. I mean you can not go wrong with Alison and Brad. Have you ever seen the real video for that? It won alot of awards for that. I mean I am a lover of country music. But, that video was just heartbreaking and it was good you use scene from S3. I love it! Bravo!!
