@AkamuSlayer Passing the title of "vicious breed" off to smaller dogs is no better then people branding the rottie as vicious. Let's try and advocate DOG rights, not breed rights. If more people took the time and effort to knowledge themselves with how training and care can effect a dog's personality and temperament, we wouldn't have these problems at all. I worked with dogs nearly my entire life and will go on record as to say there is NO BAD BREED, only poor training from uneducated owners.

A long time ago when I lived with my parents, we had a female rottweiler named Abby for a family dog. We raised her as a puppy. Abby took alot of abuse from my little brother (he'd play too rough), and amazingly she didn't tear him to shreds. She was very social and loved guests. Rotweilers can be very gentle, smart, loving dogs.

SO CUTE! He's like "Mmmm..Gotta love kids and their sticky fingers! And for the person who commented about the reporter that got bitten, that was a Mastiff....not a rottie or a pitt that bit her.....and she shouldn't have put her face in the dogs face!!!!! That should be a lesson not to stick your face in the face of a dog you don't know! And ANY kind of dog can attack!!!!! From a teacup to a Mastiff!! So don't point out Rotts! Its not the dog that is mean, its uneducated owners!!!

, obviously it does not appear 2 be a dangerous dog, but . rotts are very aggressive & have been know to snap at any minute( just look at the reporter who got her face chewed off on youtube- you know the lady who petted the nice sweet,kind adorable rott , & who know needs 2 surgeries. . the original poster may think her pet will never do that, but there have been many cases of rotts attacking , children, including family members. .would the owner leave the baby & rott unattended? i think not

I totally agree also people should experience this breed before listening to the meda cause they are not dangerous I had one he was my one truth bestfriend and no one can ever replace him in my heart
