  • Ok so where can I go to give my ideas on a show

  • You can post here, or send a private message to coydog0.

  • Wait we are bleeping stuff out now?????

  • Yeah, we've been bleeping for a while now. The show is created for TV, so we have to watch our potty mouths.

  • Guys, one thing to remember about Picoult's run was that she had mandates from DC Editorial to link her work with the dreadful Amazons Attacks...sometimes I wonder if she would have been better if she didn't have all those additional burderns that detract the original pacing for her story.

  • Those editorial mandates ALWAYS do more harm than good.

The very best mainstreams comics of the past 25 years--Watchmen, Dark Knight, Sandman, New X-men, New Frontier, All-Star Superman--are all books that stand on their own, outside mainstream continuity, and with almost no editorial interferance. Yet...the companies still instist on mucking up stories with their bean-counting/robot-spider ideas.

  • @Rodimus78 I still prefer pre-Crisis Wonder Woman to the new stuff. For a better 'modern' take on the Wonder Woman character, I'd suggest 'Glory' by Alan Moore, from Avatar (formerly by Awesome).

The 'shocking image' of her murdering Maxwell Lord is another example of DC (and Marvels) mistaken faith in images of violence to denote 'maturity' and 'realism'. Well, we all know that the more blatantly violent a story is, the more worthless a story is.

I agree with every word of your post.-Mike-EL

  • With all due respect gentlemen, what they're doing is insulting. Wonder Woman is NOT Xena. She is a superheroine who is supposed to have sci-fi adventures & expressing the ideals of peace, she's not supposed to be framed for a petty murder caused by hack writing. If they want to write bloodthirsty bad girls, then go write Elektra, Red Sonja & Lady Death. They're derailing the mythos, they're derailing the public, & that's no way to promote the spirit of a classic superheroine.
