ben5017: You, are you're own proof that not all Americans are ''basket cases''.
Keep strong friend, and know that most people outwith the usa understand, that the majority of Americans are decent folks living under a criminal regime. The ''Founding Fathers'' will be shifting in their graves.
Happy 4th

Yeah, and the mafia protects family values. Never heard a lamer excuse for mass murder.

An incredibly large percentage of the world's technology comes from the military. The internet for example- military technology.

You are looking only at what is placed in front of you. This technology has room in both medical, and exploratory sciences. Without the advancement of military technology you would not be able to do many of your everyday events. There are many reasons that the US dollar is weak, perhaps you can educate yourself by asking why we had a "stimulus check" this year. You might find more answers there.

These are cool but seem like they would so easily destroyed. They're slow aiming, costly, loud or slow and quiet and can't hear. It seems like it would be so easy for someone to sneak behind one of these things. Also wouldn't a bullet in the camera be easy to do and make these 100% useless?

It's easy to understand how the world hates us ... all we use technology for is the killing of humans! the developed nations are far more worried about control of the masses by coming up with new ways to kill civilans!
Another great waste of tax dollars ... no wonder our dollar is so weak!

You are missing the point. The weapon is not the focus, but instead the user interface. As far as a bullet taking out the camera, you must assume that they would use a bullet/shatter resistant covering. As far as the cost, well sir you might want to research the cost of training one US soldier.
