This place looks like a beacon of democracy compared to what goes on in West Hollywood California, where the average length of "service" on the council is about 14 years, and one member has been on for 24 years now.

Our college board mmetings are run dysfunctionally the same way.Meeting minutes manipulated to show not only all public comments to be in favor(or changed "to expressed concern" for unprintable comments) but also every board member voting Yes on everything despite a loud and verbal lone Abstain. Is this our system in action? And what gets me these people hold on to their board seats forever with a death grip.
