A second group of over 100 students being held in quarantine were released in Beijing on Friday (July 24).
73 British students and teachers remain in quarantine and four members of the group have been hospitalized after having tested positive for the flu.
The first batch was released on Tuesday (July 21).
Another 70 students and teachers are in quarantine in Hangzhou, where three have tested positive for H1N1.
The more than 500 British students are all members of a Specialist Schools and Academies Trust trip visiting China to study language and culture.
The U.S. Embassy has not said how many American students are currently in quarantine or have tested positive for the H1N1 virus.
But the organizer of the students trip said on Wednesday (July 22) that nine American students had tested positive for the flu.
The World Health Organization declared an H1N1 pandemic in June. Around 430 people had died from the virus as of early July.
