Closing of Brownsville Tri-County Hosptal

This was yet another sad day for the citizens of Brownsville, PA and surrounding communities when Brownsville Tri-County Hospital closed it's doors again after being open for only 9months. It was previously Brownsville General hospital then was purchased by a for profit group and Renamed Tara Hospital at Brownsville. 9 months after that purchase the hospital closed under bankruptcy proceedings. Then reopened on May 22, 2008 only to close it's doors again due to financial reasons on 12 Feb 2009. A sad day for all involved, employees, emergency providers, and citizens of the area whom once again must travel approx 30 minutes east to uniontown hospital, 30 minutes northwest to Mon-valley hospital, or 40 mins west to washington hospital to recieve emergency care. I feel the government should step in and stop this type of tragedy from happening when the publics best interests and healthcare are at stake. Video Was shot by WPXI NBC, WPGH FOX Pittsburgh.
