In a real life situation this guy would be on the floor by now. His head his leaning forward and downward, an experienced martial artist would grab his neck and throw him like a ragdoll. Traditional wing chun kuen is more than fine as it is, so why change it? And as someone said , Ip Man would be rolling in his grave at the sight of this.

He is no martial artist as anyone said, but he is very strong and tough and maybe this is his advantage in any fight with a martial artist, if we assume that the martial artist has medium strength. All the comments about his stance are true and I totally agree. The man in the video never said that he uses wing chun kung fu. I believe anyone can work with the dummy, even if the dummy belongs to the wc legacy. Martial arts are an expression of our inner world. Greetings to everybody.

Also that WC doesn't block we always deflect. The distance to the dummy is too close and hitting in like that defeats the purpose never could understand why everyone wants to smack in so hard, but as I say everyone can do as they believe is best and isn't experimenting part of us to create...as soon as these structural and body mechanical problems are solved then Sifu Joseph will notice a definite improvement. anyway someone who looks like Dennis Hopper is OK in my books...

Dear friend i do not doubt your skills or knowledge but with my little experience as i am a desipline yet your stans needs work. Your hands are in front for many reasons and one is to protect your self, thats why you do not need to slide forward it would reasolt in fatal for you. You could easily get pulled at frond and lose your balance no matter how powerfull and fast your punches are you can easily get hit in the face or chest. Forgive me if i say something wrong this is my opinion

I appreciate that there is something to be learned from anyone and even including this video. However, it's not good form or technique to bring your head and face down so low and close to the opponent. Taking your eyes off your opponent by looking down. Anytime you see yip man doing the dummy his eyes are always up facing the mook jong.. Needs work. I would expect more from someone who charges to teach..

whats funny about this video, is if you notice.. hes getting punched in the chest AND the face each time he strikes, not to mention a person would just kick him in the stomach for getting that close... this is absolutely not wing chun.
