I actually agree with emopatrol as far as the image is concerned. I like black metal that isn't pushy with their "look i have gauntlets and plate armor, that makes me a good musician" attitude.

I look at Dimmu Borgir and mock them. But then I listened to their song Sacreligous Scorn and no I love them. Listen to the songs, dont judge on appearance. Because yeah, black metalers do LOOK like posers, but they're not.

You obviously have never listened to Darkthrones Panzerfaust album or Behemoths Demigod album. Not to mention Marduk, Naglfar, Dissection, Mayhem, or Satyricon. Old-school BM like Transylvanian Hunger was supposed to have low production value. But i guess bands like Bullet for my Valentine and Atreyu are 'true' metal, you fucking fag.
