@USCG777 Perhaps I played a small part, but a very minor one. Those rescue swimmers, and the helo crews as a whole whom go out into the storm with little choice take the biggest risk. I have long since ended my risk taking mission with the CG retiring some 17 years ago. The greatest risk I have now is riding my motorcycle and surving with this economy.LOL

@20031200 your the reason people got saved my friend, without someone shipping out parts and signing papers our helos wouldn't be airborne and people wouldn't be getting a second chance at life...no matter the job, a guardian is a guardian, we all play a vital role in in every mission. and trust me you risked your ass too, because if someone signed the wrong paper and got the wrong part for our helo and it fucked up 250 miles off the coast, we would hurt them ourselves haha, all in fun ofcourse.

@USCG777 I'm glad there are types like you that wish to risk their ass for there fellow man. I wasn't one of them while I was in the CG. We all have our jobs, and mine thankfully wasn't a risky one. I was a "Paper Pusher" (SK). Who supplied you with your parts to fix your broken aircraft.
