  • no bicarbonate of soda?

  • I used to eat a banana a day and now I learn that there are so much more awesome uses(like this one, banana bread etc).

I feel sorry for wasting so much bananas, when I was young, by eating them "unprocessed" :D

  • @skaught911 pour through a sifter, lined with cheesecloth if needed and reuse it.

once it starts to smell like you're in a [insert any fast food restaurant], pour into any container of your choice and take it to the recycling yard. And, if they want to charge you for that, don't feel bad to dump it into your backyard garbage bin.

Or use it to lightly soak old newspaper with it, it's a great starter for charcoal(will be burnt away befor you put on your food, so don't worry)

  • @Sir047 ah.. goreng pisang ala Ramsey.. :D

  • Short and sweet!

  • @skaught911 Just toss it in the garbage as far as I know, but there are places where you can take it and they will recycle it. I work part time at a nurisng home in dietary while not in school, and when I empty the friers of their oil to replace it with fresh oil, I take it out back and put it into a special bin where it is emptied and taken for recycling.

Some restaurants may offer you the opportunity to do that if you want to be eco-friendly, but if not you can just toss it.

  • @spoonyg132 Do you just throw the container out in the trash afterwards? Or do you have to take it to a disposal facility?

  • @skaught911 Keep an container around to store it in or dispose of it. You can reuse oil more than once because it is unlikely to be that dirty after one use. If it is, just pour it into a container and then dispose of it normally. DO NOT pour it down the drain.

  • What would you do with all that oil afterwards :s

  • @my89tube icing sugar is powdered sugar & caster sugar is granulated sugar
