When my sister and her ex husband got married she was pregnant and he dedicated this song to his dad for the reasons in this song well when my nephew grows up he will be able to do the same thing. My sisters ex didn't stick around to be a dad its kind of ironic.

I can relate to this song in a way. The girl I'm with right now got pregnant while she was with her ex bf but I told her that doesn't matter to me. I told her I wanted her to keep the baby and I would do the best I could to be the daddy that her ex couldn't be.

my mom and dad got killed october 17th 2006 by a drunk driver i cry everytime i hear this song and i am a guy 19 yrs old i just want to thank my grandpa for coming into my life when all this happen he is now the father figure to me and my grandma is my mo figure i wanna thank yall both so much i love yall and thank you for coming into my life
