  • I love Jeff more than anyone (I think) but I have to ask: WHAT IS THIS CRAP?????

sorry to anyone who is offended by my remarks, I do not need to hear from you, I am just let down by this waste of time/jive production sort of ramble by the worlds greatest living guitarist...

  • Well fair enough, it's not for anyone else 2 decide what you like or don't like. Personally, I really enjoy this kind of sullen sounding moody piece of Jeffs'.

Though I do think it's a bit unrealistic 2 expect 2 appreci@e every cre@ion of any particular artist, however much you may enjoy most of their work? 4 me e.g. the 'Bulgaria' track on this album does absolutely nothing 4 me and puzzles me as much as this number does you! lol

As for 'HI Ho Silver....' NOOOOO!!! Don't even go there!!! ;-D

  • Always thought this is one of Jeff's most underrated

songs. If you listen to his playing on the 2nd half when

he takes his solo it's coming right at you,in a way

Spirtual.I once saw him Rehearse this song. Unfortunately,

he never chose to do it at a show. This remains a Great cut! ~D~

  • I've been a fan ever since hearing 'Blow by Blow' in the 70's. I've never seen him play but I've got my ticket for one of his UK gigs in July ☺

  • If you listen to his new CD "Emotion & Commotion" you can hear how he took snippets from this tune and used them in some wonderful compositions. It's as if this was a "sound-searching" jam any musician does to create new sounds for future use. Having listened to Emotion & Commotion 7000 times, I get this tune. Very interesting.

  • What a stunning soundscape, the double tracked parts of the solo that start at 3 minutes in where the whammy bar moves exactly the same in both parts displays a kind of control that I think only decades of playing can give you, beyond here lie monsters yaarrr

  • you have to at least grant him a fantastic opening

  • All right, I'll withdraw my heavy criticism of this piece- Jeff knows how to go to far stranger and interesting places than a lot of guitarists. Sometimes I hear a lot of repetitive licks from him, but he also just a plain genius, full of eloquence and sadness as well a fun crazy manic joy. Nuff said. I'm glad he's around.

  • @raiphdude7 This is not my favorite song,''But i think i like this album as one of my favorites from Jeff.'.I can't really get that from blues or fusion unless been heated into a liquid naturally and then metamorphosized..For me its all about the trip,''creating pictures of earth and space,''Or the real music of expression..Of course under the clinical supervision of a doctor..Who holds a key to injections for sensory perception blasting into the heavens for astral projection

  • sullen? dark? maybe but sublime? YES!!

  • Heavy
