  • That was sweet. How do you trigger the multiball? I love this game...

  • @willdeh2 There are many Multiballs in the game....Fellowship: Collect all the characters, then shoot the left orbit to the right tower to start. Two Towers: Spell KEEP on the inlane/outlanes, then lock on the sword ramp 3 times. Return of the King: Collect 5000 souls from the Paths of the Dead. Gollum Multiball: Collect all Rings of Man, then shoot the VUK saucer. Ring Multiball: Collect as a gift of the elves

  • @PacDork

Seems like a different language! I've only played this about 10 times. And I'm starting to notice how to trigger it to do certain things... Thanks for the advice but I think it's gonna be a while til I catch on... How long have you been playing this game, and do you own it?

  • @willdeh2 It's a very deep game with lots of modes, rules and strategies. I've owned the game for about 3 years.

  • Yo your flippers look quite powerful, are they factory issue or PBL upgrades?

  • @turbo20lbs I did put the Pinball Life coils on...but honestly, they were very powerful before I changed them. My machine was built in Jan '05 ...maybe being part of a later run had something to do w/ it?

  • The best flow of any pinball. Deep rules and great playfield lay out. I had to by one. Worth every penny.

  • the conception of the pinball is like the best out there, many quest, subquest, missions, multiballs, extraballs... etc, and paths where ball goes through, and things you should do to reach a goal is like the best!

  • My friend has a high score on his machine of 500 million

  • @N1N7ENDO wtf!, if i lucky, i reach only 50M

  • @MrRiffbear There are no definites. I don't own LOTR but I've spent many hours playing it.

  • @skierpage So definitely worth having this game in a collection even if you are not into the actual film?

  • @RolandTemplar

Used to have the high score on an arcade-version in the Phillipines that was 97.452.940

  • bad ass, this game is the shit

  • awesome

  • @Lyubefan Twilight Zone is just different, Pat Lawlor designs are more about fun than complexity. It's hard to beat a widebody with four flippers plus magna-flip, the ceramic powerball, and all those other toys. LOTR gets so much mileage out of two flippers and a simple playfield, and its quests and rings are ridiculously deep and challenging (much like Frodo and the fellowship's job).
