  • Saw this documentary, it was awesome for a look into their lives.

In "history" class the teacher asks the kids to name the three "greatnesses" of the "Great leader". The first is "greatness in ideology", the second is "greatness in aura" and I forget the third. They even name their flowers after Kim Jong Il, it's insane brainwashing.

  • why was the full documentary remove how sad.

  • @myguiltypleasures1 I don't hate the North Koreans, or even this ideology and culture, I hate the way they are treated, and mislead. They are starving to death, the government has gulag's on par with Hitler's concentration camps, and the people are ruled by leaders who keep them in a state of suffering and do nothing about it. That's the part that I hate. They all seem like very wonderful people. I have nothing against them at all.

  • @myguiltypleasures1 Perfection, the total subjugation of its people to an elite upper class led by a questionably sane dictator who drinks $800,000 in Hennessey Cognac while his people starve.

  • Where the hell can I watch this?

  • If North Korea will be joining the Olympics, team USA,ROMANIA and RUSSIA will be surely rattled! :)

  • Most of these people whom are watching the mass games and performing it are of a higher class in the North Korean society. Higher class citizens there get privileges such as being well-fed, spared from concentration camps and a bit more respect. The rest of them, mostly peasants, are treated harshly and cruelly.

  • it would appear that they are training them to be ants. Which is great for insects but not so much for humans.

  • @myguiltypleasures1 completely agreed. before I saw this documentary; people described North Korea to me as a brainwashing trap for it's citizens. But now I get to see the actual enjoyment in their lives. They're enjoyments are different than ours; but they still enjoy their lives and smile everyday.

  • So many comments about this video by people who have obviously seen this documentary are so full of hate. It's so distressing to see so many people who don't seem to understand. Many of North Korea's ideals are different than mine. For example I would not sacrifice my freedom to aspire to perfection.Much of their lives is concerned with an effort to be a small part in the greater good. The documentary was about understanding a country so mysterious and misunderstood.I wish people could be more open

  • i loved the music, does anyone know what music that was?
