@Dslater417 I've inlaws who live in the Shushwap and Okanagan regions in BC. It rains more than it snows there and most of the time and in the winter there it's a lovely 32 or so. Of course I have a friend who lives 3hrs north of Edmonton and it gets to be a balmy -55. It all depends on where you live in Canada because in Toronto and Ottawa they get the same weather we do in Upstate NY

this is an Americans perspective on the weather in Canada.

First off, I live in Wilmington, North Carolina, where the low temperature is 40 F in the winter. The average high in January and February is 50 to 60 degrees. The palms trees get a little chilly.

Now, I have family in New York, where I spend my christmas and Thanksgiving, and December in New York is cold. Unbearably cold for even the locals.

If we think New York and Boston are unbearable, we can only imagine how cold it is in Canada
