Port of Olympia War Shipments Halted 11/9/07

thats a cool protest or whatever but these people are messing with this truckers money.

i was there marching and protesting on the first day of all of this protesting. the trucks were shipping supplies like weapons tanks etc. we dont want our port being used for an illegal war. i understand that they were just doing their job, but this war is illegal. its our port. the peoples. i will not just stand aside and let the war in the middle east go on. its illegal and wrong. the people united, will never be defeated.

Stop the truckers? Wtf you stupid ass people should all be shot, why are you stopping the truckers? there doing what they need to do to make a living, and you stupid ignorant motherfuckers are keeping them from getting home to there family.

I was there the following day to counter protest those mother fuckers trying to block the trucks!

They want peace , that's good war is horibale . I would know I been there .

wich our troop's protect . But these people are realy stupid ! You don't protest the military you protest the governmnet that controls it . These are collage kid's who have no idea how the world work's !
I love my country and have gone into battle to protect it but i in no way trust the government . There are smart way's to protest , this aint one of them !

To correct you on your point about equal rights for women, Iraq society had a high degree of gender equality. After chaos broke out, a lot of that equality was erased because of religious extremists gaining power.

Its hard to explain my exact motives for doing what i did because I have changed and grown a lot since then. But I don't think most environmentalists support any kind of weapon production whether it involves some recycling of equipment or not. Also, peace activist does not automatically equal environmental activist. The overarching point in that protest was to show we didn't support the military using our community port for this war in any way.
