I'm a liberal and this add is CRAP. Fair tax is the best way to go and everyone knows it. This reminds me of the election we just had in Canada where Harper got elected by lying about Dion's tax plans. Anyone who gets their "information" from advertisments should be barred from voting and steralized. Did I go too far?

This type of lying and deceit is what is keeping others from buying into the fair tax. This has been a typical action for all the democrats this election to lie at all costs to get the total majority in Washington. Whats so crazy is gullible people that are willing to believe this without investigating it. Its almost like people are brainwashed into thinking that everything that is uttered out of a democrats mouth is the gospel without doing any homework at all. The fair tax is the answer.

The "facts" in this ad are bogus.

According to the group of economist that studied it every product and service has an embedded tax of 23%. Once enacted market forces will drive the cost of products down 23% balancing the Federal sales tax. The Fair Tax replaces the Federal income tax and eliminates the IRS. Consumers at or below the poverty level will receive a monthly prebate for the expected amount of tax paid.

Learn the facts, dont be a useful idiot.

What a bunch of lies and misrepresentation of the Flat Tax. Failed to mention you get to keep more of your money,get the choice of where t spend it. And if memory serves me right, food,clothing and possibly even gas were exempt. Well, that is liberals for ya, get get them with the truth, the lie,lie,and lie again. Just like Clinton did while in office and pretty sure Obama will too.

Hey, guys, at least this one lets you comment on it and say what a LIE it is. The other version don't allow you to post if you're a dissenting opinion.
As you can see by these comments, that was a smart move.

I guess politicians don't have to adhere to truth in advertising guidelines. This ad is a bold faced LIE.
