God this brings back a lot of memories. Do you have the Saturday Night Live Performance Where Hammer was Music and Host where did Too Legit to Quit, Adams Grove, and This is the Way We Roll?

Damn shame I have to reach back almost 20 years to see some GREAT talent, dancing and a good message in the lyrics.....The 2000's have been a total musical FAILURE!

Old Skool rappers makin' a come back! You Bay area folks remember Chill E.B.? Hammer was stuck in Alaska one year and couldn't make it for the Bammies (as I understood it), so Chill E.B. was asked to light up Hammer's spot. Thought you'd like... youtube (dot) com /watch?v=4YejSh_6v5c Take out the spaces and add the dot.
Enjoy!

I was there back in the day when he was working it out at SILKS...Don't hate! Name me a rapper with a cartoon and a doll. Not necessarily a great business man but the best rapping showman! It's about show. Preach Hammer Preach!
Too Legit Too Forget!

Listen,...
Say what U wanna about Hammer,...but he put people from his hood 2 work and made them successful. Also he was one of the few Hip Hop artist 2 ever fuse Gospel ans Hip Hop together and bring it to mainsream. All while changing the face of 'dance' forever.
Long before Lil' Jon and others started chanting on record and called their style 'crunk' music, Hammer had already gotten the party started by getting 'bucked'.
U had 2 be there 2 know. I was, and it was 'incredible'
:-)
Peace
