Here's a piece, inspired by Ray Bradbury's "The Veldt". Instead of the African Veldt, I made the setting the wild west. Look up the story, it's nice and creepy!

  • Thanks. It's a twist to the story, keeping the theme, but adding a surrogate father for the kid. Rather than the veldt being the center of his desire. This would be the night the father threatens to shut down the nursery. I wouldn't be so arrogant to think I could improve a freakin Bradbury story, but I thought I would run with some of his common themes and have the kid fall in love with something that isn't real. Somewhere along the line of his themes of people's relationships with machines.

  • good job. yeah this story has an incredible lesson

  • Man, I love this story. I see how both machine, and mankind is in conflict with another, and the important rule is to never let technology replace anyone...

  • What part is this? I don't recognize it. Very good though.
