wow, and i own the Kenwood 9140. but that's ok cause by the time i get settle in the car and ready to drive is ready for me. plus i love my kenwood does everything i expected plus!

15 seconds is still a pathetic boot time. I own a kw-nt1 and that's one of the most (of many) annoying things about it. I'm seriously considering ditching the navigation for a regular alpine head unit I have.

The 9140 is the Best!! it has the built in bluetooth and also comes with the microphone and voice commands!!!!! This is an amazing thing especially if your car doesn't have the factory bluetooth!!!! and also the other features are good! like the gps and ipod and reverse camera etc.

I have in-dash gps. I connected the camera's power to the Reverse light (wire) also. It works fine, but not sure if that's the ideal set up.
Where do you guys usually run the wire coming from the in-dash camera to the back? Like the Blue wire (reverse). I installed it under the carpet of the car, and it touches the body of the car. Is that safe? Or should I use a heavy duty wire?

id still get the 9140
I have the 8120 and its worth the wait,
the 8120/9140 have alot more features than the other units

@sn95chico We are going to do some more boot-up test later on in the year. I'll see if we still have any Eclipse units in stock (we sold out of them really fast) and if we do we will put them in the test too.
And yes, it is sad that Eclipse is no longer with us.
