My gosh! This is so frustrating. Regardless of his actions, this whole SOPA thing really burns my biscuits! I don't see anyone suffering from what he did. Actors are still rich, artists are still rich, the production companies still drive their brand new Mercedes to work on the daily, and they still eat at the end of the day. WTH do they want with him?!

@Indigo42Kitsune how about getting CBS and Microsoft and other corporations to justice, they distributed torrents and other pirated websites on their own sites... SOPA , ACTA and PIPA Sucks.

this shows how the world likes to roll now a days, so you earned billions in profit by making a mutibillionare credit bubble fraud and left in proverty millions of people your company is broke and the people who where already fucked by them now have to pay for them to regain the money they already stole and leave without charges, but a guy who shares copyrighted material and earned money in ads who helped more people than actually harming it is going to jail for 5 years GAWD SAVE AMWERICA!

Why are they not more outraged?!!! This must be a fake video. If it were true, it would be so outrageous to prosecute a guy for sharing, rather than those fat cats out there rolling up the forests of the earth for a few years of profit. That is a crime to future generations, they are endangering zillions of lives. And they walk free and easy. What is that about?!!!

Thought police are here, Apple will make the Telescreen's,
He should be held accountable since some one was making money off of these copyrighted shows. According to, Reuters Edition U.S. ,Richard O'Dwyer's "sold $230,000 worth of advertising on the site, according to U.S. authorities." Everyone involved needs to be healed accountable. But since at least part of the crime took place in the UK, Richard O'Dwyer should be tired there under the laws of the UK.

@Indigo42Kitsune Except it not illegal in the UK, therfore it cannot be a crime, and no case could be heard.
Regardless of what he made on advertising, he did not download or distribute any material, he only showed people where copyright material can be found, just the exact same way any search engine such as google do.
This american law is stupid, it will not stop here, next it will be youtube and other sites to go, or turned into a pay site.

Maybe they should also try to get Google & other search engines, because they also link to the same web sites.
