What is right for me? No food is ever bad or good but sometimes I feel BAD! So if I don't want to feel bad - I should stop! I can have food whenever I want and what ever I want! So if I feel lousy and need to eat, why do I over do it and feel lousy again? The food will be there later. Walk away and learn to let it go.
Great video! I am practicing mindful eating rather than portion control. It's easier than I anticipated! I put this video on my blog today (TheSkinnyOnline) so my readers can enjoy and learn. Thank you!!!
There are important principles in your comment:
1.There are no good foods or bad foods (or amounts) so there is no reason for guilt. Guilt just leads to more overeating.
2. Forget guilt...but "regret" helps you learn - IFyou are gentle with yourself.
3. Eating the right amount is not about BEING good, it is about FEELING good.
4. Instead of trying to stay "in control," be in charge.
5. Make conscious decisions for yourself. That sometimes includes eating more than you need.
