I find this album a bit uneven...some titantic moments such as This Woman's Work and Love And Anger, but some rather ugly 80s drum sounds elsewhere. And I felt that when she modified things on The Directors Cut, it was a missed opportunity. Much prefer 'Aerial', esp. the 2nd disc, the finest work she has ever produced.

@CroxleyEducator i hear what you are saying, but plz bear in mind that others may say the same thing yet sight other tracks as the "titanic moment". there is no way she can please everyone. "a bit uneven" well yes, it's kate. it's that what we love about her?.
i too feel that Aerial is her masterpiece, but i love all the other albums too.
and as kate modified the tracks on dc i rather feel she did them the way "she" wanted them.
we all know she does things in her way. we like them or not.
