I still recall I that in 1988 Seoul Olympic , South Korean boxing coaches attacked a New Zealand referee, Keith Walker, after one of their boxers lost a decision to a Bulgarian in a 119-pound class bout. It was a clean fight and referee's call was fair. Koreans simply can accept the fair sportsman spirit.
Koreans also show their true color during Japan/Korea co-hosted World Cup in 2002.
I don't think Koreans are not mature enough to host any events on international level
