Early in the morning of July 30, 2002, 43 pilot whales stranded in the Run south of Lieutenant Island in South Wellfleet. For the first two hours of the stranding, this video clip makes you the sole eyewitness to a mass marine mammal stranding as it occurs.

  • about 20 whales whale are rare and no1 helps! wow who is that person.if iwas there i well call for help

  • So, question, why was this person sitting there recording whales as they die instead of trying to help them? Some rescues are effective. Some are not. Better to try and save them instead of standing there and doing nothing.
