  • OO my GOD dude that has to be the sweetist sound iv herd ever coming out of the gv650, i have one also but dont want to spend over 500 bucks on some twin pipes, if you wouldt mined. What all did you do to covert yours to sound like that? Because i want to use your information to relay it to a muffler shop around town where i live in, oh and could that be any muffler shop at that? Thank you so much and again sweet a##@@s bike.

  • didn't take much at all. here's a step by step: take the heat shield behind the muffler off, take off the allen bolts on the inner most circle of the muffler (WD-40 is your friend), take off the muffler, take the bike to a muffler shop, have them cut the mounting flange off and weld an exhaust tip on (mine is like a 3 1/8 inch pipe ID). you will want to get it re-jetted because it'll run a little more lean and the popping will be worse. Be warned it is very loud, the police might not like it.

  • also the pipe I put on is about 18 inches long.

  • Wow!! Awesome sound, how much did that put you back (the exhaust)

  • about $35. $25 for the exhaust tip, $10 for labor to the muffler shop

  • sweeet terrible quality lol -Mellow Meek-

  • eh $70 for a camera what do you expect.
