Why the dislikes, Eurostar looks like they've been affected by the recession so they're using desperate measures to keep punctual.

@KuraIthys ... And as usual, youtube won't let me post links, and refuses to tell me that's what's going on. There's a period and a slash in there after the 'com', if you want to look for yourself.

@UraeusAnkhAmon ... Yes, you're right. I got that confused with something else.
However, Velaro D still isn't an ICE 3... there is a document on siemen's website that the technical progression:

@KuraIthys D stands for Deutschland. Like Velaro E for Espania.
-
@UraeusAnkhAmon No, you might want to research that. The velaro D is class (BR 407). The Velaro D is based on the ICE 3, but they are not the same thing. (D implies 4, ICE 3 would therefore be the Velaro C, With the ICE 1 being Velaro A - Of course, the design of the ICE 1 & 2 isn't much like that of the ICE 3).
-
@USofMilitaryPower94 What does that have anything to do with train technology? The train was invented 175 years ago, when the US existed, it's not a valid statement to say what you said.
-
@KuraIthys Velaro D IS the ICE 3 (BR 403).

Wat a dumbass ure mental as!!!

@EWS60008 I know right? I'm a big fan of the German high speed trains, but even though Eurostar's trains are technically related to those (Velaro D, which in Germany would end up being the ICE 4), they take everything about the German designs that make them look good, and ruin it completely. Seriously, look at an ICE 3, then look at these things. You can see they're related, but not in a good way...)
Haha even the Trainspotters are commenting!! Love It!! All jokes aside it was a beautiful sight :)
