Nightline's two night coverage came just days before a Paris, France court convicted the Church of Scientology's French office and six of its "operating thetan" leaders of organized fraud. The court rules the cult pressured vulnerable members into paying large sums of money for questionable financial gain and used "commercial harassment" against recruits. This has nothing to do with John Lehmann, the Sanchez Meteorite or the Jets bodybuilder haircuts for hot girls, but I thought I should, you know, because you just lost the game, mention them too.

An Oscar-winning Canadian filmmaker has quit the Church of Scientology after 35 years over the organization's tolerance of "gay-bashing," its lying over the use of "disconnection," and its decision to release the intimate confessions of some of its former members who turned into critics.

Paul Haggis, who won an Oscar for the movie Crash, made his decision to leave the controversial religion in Aug.

The church of Scientology was invented by L. Ron Hubbard. He came out and said that he was bored doing what he was doing so he decided that he would create his own religion. Anyone who believes this crap is a fool. Do some research to see what they are all about. Basically if you're not rich and famous you go to hell.
