Where's the wholetime pump?. Plz could you put more clips of Nottinghamshire fire and rescue?.

Hi mate,

Haven't a clue where the wholetime pump was. Me and a few mates went to notts for the day to photo a few machines and just as we pulled up at the lights on the main road, the retained pump turned out.

I doubt i'll be able to get many more notts vids as i live in Merseyside, but if i#m ever in the area i'll see what I can do

i drove past the new ,,highfields,, station today, Seems like a bloody silly place to build a fire station to me. And i will NEVER understand the closing of Dunkirk station, situated on the roundabout on the main A52, with fast access to all the main routes, So they close it MADNESS !!!

it was a full time station wiv retained aswell, its now closed down to move to a new superstation called highfields. The S/O told me its now the biggest fire station in the country.

so this is a retained station yes? i see theres 3 shutters to the station. do they have 2 pumps ? water bowser? or 1pump 1 rescue pump and water bowser?

Notts have had Dennis engines as long as I can remember, I can even remember the old ones from mansfield with the huge ladder with wheels on from when I was a nipper

the new scanias are crap compared to the dennis ones

the difference is that a Dennis Rapier is lower to the ground and smaller, the Dennis Dagger is bigger and has different hear lights to the rapier and sabre, Nottingham r gettin rid of all the dennis appliances and replacing the them with Scania appliances beeston now has 1
