Sounds similar to the UK Leyland Lynx that have the Cummins L10 unit but without the judder noise.

I'm glad it's not just me. I used to drive a MCI D4505 and to me it always sounded like a Cummins ISM

Does sounds similar to New Flyer D60 LF/LFR operated by St. Albert Transit in Canada as well as Broward County Transit's buses there. That cat engine sounded like that similar engine used on New Jersey Transit's NABI except ours has ZF transmission. IMO, I like allison tran on buses because this gives the acceleration of the engine speed to higher rpm as each gear typically shifts as the engine reaches almost near high rpm.

I've been on 32 before and didn't notice any kind of difference. It sounded like a revved up M11 to me.

I rode it soon after the test engine was installed. There is a difference, check out my 0049 video and you can hear it
