UCSF Ergonomics announces the development of a novel device for drilling into concrete overhead. The overhead drill press is available through UCSF Ergonomics by visiting: http://www.me.berkeley.edu/ergo/odp/index.html
Heard that the machine has now been equipped with the ability to line up so that layout can be done on the floor, speeds the job up because there are fewer obstacles on the floor than the ceiling. The dust control part, the Hilti TE-6DRS (I believe) is available. Good to build a market for this tool. Your "tool guy" may not know about it unless he asks Hilti specifically for Dust Control. Good work to our colleagues at UCB!!
A wonderful video showing these innovations to make this work safer. I especially like showing the early prototypes. I hope you'll post more of your practical research for all of us to see!
