"Bron-Yr-Aur" (Welsh pronunciation: [brɔn.ər.aɪr]) is an acoustic guitar instrumental tune by English rock band Led Zeppelin, and, at two minutes and six seconds in duration, is the shortest studio recording under the band's name.

The song was initially written and recorded in 1970 by Jimmy Page during the sessions for the album, Led Zeppelin III, but was eventually released in 1975 on Physical Graffiti. It was named after Bron-Yr-Aur, a cottage in Gwynedd, Wales where the members of Led Zeppelin spent time during the recording of Led Zeppelin III. ("Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" is a different song from Led Zeppelin III.)

  • Holy crap dude, this is one of my absolute favorite acoustic guitar pieces and you nailed it! Bravo, this is brilliant guitar playing of a masterpiece. Best performance I've ever heard, ever. No disrespect to Master Jimmy Page, but damn dude, even he would be in awe. Growing up, I've always wanted to play this piece. Someone else said this reminds them of growing up. I can relate...

  • @TheWoodad - thank you very much! Sincerely, thurane

  • Damn dude. Your right on. To the T. Nice job.-Nate

  • @N8Dogg1002 - thanks!

  • Amazing- if Jimmy was playing that, noone would know. You did the best cover on youtube I have heard. Great job!

  • @waist32 - woah! thanks SO MUCH!!! i don't deserve so nice a Comment... but i'll humbly take it, and say a sincere, heartfelt Thanks. in Christ, ~ thurane

  • You nailed it......that was incredible.....this song is such a tasty nugget. It was a real pleasure to hear it again done so well. I agree that this is as close to Jimmy Paige as it gets. Bravo!

  • That's awesome! Sounds so much like the studio Zep version!

  • Amazing! This is as good as the studio version and better than any of the live recordings I've heard Jimmy do.

  • just AWESOME!!! Great job, usually I wont finish watching some videos, couldn't stop.

  • some say Hendrix was the best, others Clapton, Jeff Beck, or SRV. I say Jimmy Page hands down. none of the others created music like Page. Zeppelin is so timeless. Page covered so many different tuning's, blues & rock, even some early metal.to think 68-71 zeppelin 1-4 not a day has gone by in over 40 yrs. that Zeppelin don't get radio play. Timeless!!

they still sound as good today as they did when they came out. I really don't think anyone who plays rock guitar has not been influenced by Page.

  • very nice job!! best cover of this tune ive heard.
