I thought this was Lismore Ireland! I have a few clips of our recent floods so have a look - after all we're twin towns and that's official!

funny thing is this is all where it normally floods. think about it. always the same places all the locals know where the water is / going to be we all know to move or get wet. it's funny coz we also know where tto go for the good shots!

When i lived in lismore many moons ago i was thrilled during the 1977 floods ( i was 14 ) to see myself filmed on the national news on 2 channnels paddling around lismore on my li-lo. That flood would not happen today as it would have been below the levee max heights.
I remember all the debris just after the 74flood went down after when we came over from Casio 32 km away where i lived then.

1:16 i watched 3 cars go under there and the 4th didn't get through. the car died! so they had to get someone to drag it out! by then i'd left just found it funny coz a little way away was another dry way through. which is how i got home.

Owch.. I u like drove straight past my house on terania lol.. I wasn't in town for this!! LOL more like panicking coz I thought I wouldnt be able to get a flight home haha
