YESSS! this makes me like my V6 so much more now!

The 8.8 and aluminum DS would be a good idea. The auto can handle the power. It's just the manual that breaks when torque is 350+

@forced4motorsports I apologize for my wrong choice of words. If i am only going to be using the car for daily driving... noting too crazy like drag racing, burnouts, or anything of that extreme nature...Do I still need to upgrade the transmission ( I have an Automatic) and the 8.8 rear...etc?? thanks.

The motor will handle 400. I'm @ 414HP / 480TQ right now. You will need an 8.8 rear with a t-lock at minimum, aluminum drive shaft, lower control arms and relocation brackets and a TR3650 if you have a manual. The stock T-5 just won't handle much past stock torque for very long. You'll also need comp cams 909-1 valve springs to prevent valve float if you run 9+ psi; These are re-purposed Nissan valve springs and have 20% more seat pressure.
and please, don't call me buddy...

@forced4motorsports hey buddy, i am thinking about installing a turbo on my 06 v6 mustang as well. besides the mechanical stuff like larger fuel injector, turbo manifold, exhaust..etc.. are there anything i might consider changing? how many horsepower can the engine handle? I am thinking about boosting mine to only 400HP. Can it go any higher than that? thanks bud!

what kinda money do u gotta spend to get your mustang that fast?
-
what kind of differential do you have and with what gears?
-
your my inspiration

Gt500's r too powerful for those stock tires! Hell I put 1/2 inch wider tires on my v6 and went from 10.7-10.21 at 1/8th mile!

To answer ur question man its probably cause they come stock with crappy tires! They'll spin all day :/
cool deal outside of the blow by, I'm assuming the motor was hurt a little in the trial/error stage, cracked ring? or turbo seal looking back again it was smoking a little sitting at the tree

Turbo is low mount & I had just installed a scavenge pump before the runs (switched to Garrett). The blow-by was residual oil clearing out of the exhaust. The motor is untouched & original save for stiffer valve springs added in 2009 when the boost was upped to 11 PSI. I'm running 12.5 now with water/meth, but haven't got a good shakedown due to a worn out clutch (in the shop now.) Pre-water/meth & 13.5 PSI I ran a best of 12.1 (386 HP/460 TQ). W/ water/meth; 414 HP / 480 TQ; Hoping for mid 11s.
