@GrandeFudgeBrownies Yeah i looked at House of Blues. before and its not my sort of place , check film clips of Birds Nest Deptford. you will see a Local pub to me which puts on bands. Its not even a Gig Venue , its a Pub . But one of the best to see new bands

@skawashers You should check out the House of Blues website. It's on the Sunset Strip, they play everything from gospel music to punk.

@skawashers I live in Eagle Rock, which is a little part of Los Angeles along the 134 freeway between Pasadena and Glendale, but most of the good places to watch music around here are in Hollywood, then there are a lot of places that are kind of far. I am not really into punk and all of that, so I don't go to watch, but the rest of my family does, so I will ask my brother some good places and then I will write back to you. So I will go find out.

@GrandeFudgeBrownies where about in LA are you as im Visiting Whittier in December. so can you inbox me places to Visit that does have a good punk, rock, prog weird music scene. bars that are not to flash But really cutting edge .
I went to a Pub in LA called Duffys . which was ok as you could smoke in there . But no bands only a Juke box
