Google Lunar X PRIZE competitor Astrobotic is based at Carnegie Mellon University. In this clip, the team's Red Rover robot gets a visit from kindergarteners, who are given a tour by Astrobotic team member Michelle Ruiz. Along with the other competitors, Astrobotic hopes to land a robot on the moon by 2015 and have it travel at least 500 meters while sending hi-def video to Earth. The first-place winner will collect a $20 million first prize and millions more in bonus awards.
