Robert Kennedy for President

This was a project for my Politics in the Media class. We had to chose a politician and create an ad for their presidential campaign if they ran for office. I chose RFK and what may have happened if he had not been assassinated.

Nice guy...terrible loss. Unrealistic about race and humanity...far bigger problem than idealists realize. His murder showed the persistent darkside of humanity that cant be wished away. Obama and other idealists need to learn from history, Pragmatsm is in short supply. Putting a "flower in your hair" solves nothing.

Bobby brought such hope to the world back then. I wish he had lived. He probably would have done great things for this world.

What a great commercial ! Bobby Kennedy would be so proud of you for developing it ! I was at the end of fourth grade in May of 1968 and campaigned for him in the Indiana Primary that he won that year! It hurt so bad when he was killed one month later! It seemed like the world came to an end for a while. I still have many of his bumper stickers and posters from that Primary!
