Superintendent Eylastine Green-Davis on Service Learning

Eylastine Green-Davis, Superintendent for the Detroit Service Learning Academy, discusses success strategies that are similar across urban, suburban, and rural schools. She then describes the service learning projects that each child in her K-8 school takes on. For example, two fourth-graders did a study on asthma in the community and went on to develop a cleaning solution that would be safe for asthmatics.
