Thank you so much for this tutorial, it was very easy to follow with the video. I'm still practicing it, but will be making an awesome looking blanket thanks to you !! I find it quite simple to make, but a very nice looking result, especially for a beginner! I've only ever done boring single and double crochets rows and now I can do this one! I'll be looking for more of YOUR video tutorials, because you made it so easy for me to learn.

@kitkatNEF You will have one end that is scalloped. but you can repeat the stitch on the bottom edge as well.

Oh wow Bethintx your a great teacher. I think I can do this stitch as well. The way you do the shell stitch is the best one yet. I've been wanting to learn this stitch for a while. I tried following a book but had no success. Your way is soooo much easier. I am going to play with this also. Thank you, thank you. Do you have a website? Have a great day.

@red123828 You would have to find a similar pattern and look at that. I'm just showing how to do the stitch here. I have no idea how much you would need for a blanket.
