@brass815 Lol where the hell did you learn your deer ID? It's a white-tail, look at the ass-end, then compare it with a Mule-deer. It's a whitetail with a split-fork on it's main beam, not uncommon in many large bucks and there is nothing "mule-deer"-like in this buck at all.
You, my friend, had best go do some more field identification.
Differences between the two:
Size of ears.
Mulies have a large, white patch on their rump and a rope-like tail, black tip
Antler structure.
Coloration.

@brass815 wrong its a white tail deer mully are taller and the neck and hind features are different just for starters ive seen three different stiles of whitetail just in one stand in nmo alone this year better think about another slam lol

Your a idiot mule deers antlers are more spread out in between each other off main beam and how you tell difference is in there head and ears duh and sorry your completely wrong its a whitetail

It's a mule deer. You can tell by how the antlers "fork" after the main branch. That is the main difference between mule and white tail deer. As well as the black tip. Everyone on here that thinks that is a white tail, sorry your mistaken!
