Does this method work for example racing game in landscape mode?
I mean does this method work as well if you wanna create a racetrack where you see the car from behind like in the classic game outrun? (the racetrack moves towards the screen)

@1979Vlachos It could... the use of a background may be more complex in a racing game though, because I am assuming that the car would have to interact in some way with the background. I would probably do a similar thing, but instead of using two images, I would create one really long image, or maybe even a tile-map.

The Second Background is "over the top of everything" meaning when you get to it, you can't see any thing else, but you can still play, any reason for this?
Thanks!

@EpicPandaFTW The reason that is happening is the order that the images are in, in IB. Put main window in IB in list view. Then press the triangle next to the view to expand it. Then drag the background image to the opposite end of the list. This will change the drawing order, so that the background is drawn first.
