@prestopd1 How did they make Chuck E.'s mouth move in some of the commercials. I've never seen his mouth move at any of the stores.

Both commercials are the same location and film crew...Im the guy in the CEC suit.Couldn't believe the idiots gave me Billy Bobs Bass(oh well I said) I worked at the store NRH TX (Hwy 26) back in 85..store closed 2 days to film...DAMN I never have seen this till now I thought all that time in the suit was wasted. I only saw the Rocka-fire commercial air.
WHAT MEMORIES.....THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING !

There was another version of this commercial where the kid in the beginning keeps walking around the party until he comes up to his grandfather who is sitting in a wheelchair. His grandfather tells him that he is going to go to Chuck e Cheese with him and he's going to beat him at all the games. The last shot in the commercial is the family heading to the restaurant in a van and the grandfather is being towed behind them in his wheelchair by a rope. He doesn't seem happy about it.

Don't the kids singing the Chuck E. Cheese song, sound a little like The Broadway Kids?

Is that a kid aged Joey Lawrence (Gimme a Break, Brothery Love) walking around a fancy party in this 1986 Chuck E. Cheese's commercial?
Wow, which one's older? This one or the Showbiz one? I seem to remember Chuck E. Cheese, then Showbiz, then Chuck E. Cheese again.

Restaurant wise, Pizza Time Theatre (CEC's) was first, then ShowBiz came along, and then everything became Chuck E. Cheese's.
However, these sets of commercials were produced at the same time (ShowBiz Pizza Time Inc owned both restaurants, so they more or less made the same commercial for both stores).
