Hoover High School Lockdown

On May 11th, 2007, Hoover High School had a lockdown on a count of the threat of some students with guns on Toll and/or Hoover's campus. This is a clip of our principal Mr. Welsh speaking to the school before our dismissal.

Ok, I've had enough of these dumbass comments. This is what happened: The "gunman" was a kid in the middle school across the street. The "gun" was a toy and no one was in danger. The reason the principal said that we were still in lockdown and being released was so the students would exit the school in an orderly fashion and wouldn't run out of the school buck wild. .

this year i found a prop gun behind the stage only touched it for 2 seconds and the whole school went into a lockdown and there were about 6 cop cars. they told us to stand against the wall and pointed tasers at us

..... this reminds of this one time back when i was in california and we had a lockdown for several frickin hours about a girl hearin 2 girls in the bathroom talkin about a gun. it sucked X(

wouldn't you just stay in the building until it's over? i had a red once and it lasted about 5-6 hours and the aftercare and bus couldn't go. so we usualy get out at like 1:55 and came out at 2:10.
