The basic problem with the lordship salvation crowd is:1). they don't believe God's plain Words in particular when He says the same thing repeatedly; 2). they're full of religious pride like the Pharassies refusing to humbled themselves as a child; 3). they don't take the whole counsel of God; 4). as a result of #3 they fabricate false doctrine by taking scriptures out of context or isolating verses in an attempt to prove God contradicts Himself; 5). they refuse to allow the Gospel to save them.

@MMarvel22- The basic problem with these "lordship salvationist" is THEY DON'T BELIEVE GOD'S PLAIN WORDS and draw upon the Whole Counsel of God. They have NOT become like a small child and simply trust what God says, when they should be asking God. What Satan deceives them into doing, is attempt to PROVE that God contradicts Himself, thus using them as instruments of rebellion and contempt toward God, like he is. They're blinded from seeing this because the Devil appeals to their human pride.

@jacksmack77 -Keep it coming Jack. I draw much strength from all your sermons. Not all will listen to Truth, but to those that do because of Christ's servants like you, you will be among those who snatched the once unbelieving from the very flames of Hell itself which in the end, shall be thrown into the Lake of Fire. These "lordship salvationist" don't realize the danger they're in. They're oppressed by the Devil under his deception. The hook he uses is pride, like he did with the Pharassies.

@GodsWill777- No, the "may" part does not mean what you're saying. This does NOT have an implicit meaning regardless of a translation, because there are numurous scriptures throughout the NT that very clearly reveal that whosoever believes on the name of Jesus Christ SHALL be saved (not may). If you want to tinker with single words like "may" and assign a meaning to be something other than what the Whole Conunsel of God reveals, go ahead. If anything, the "may" is speaking of doubters like you.

@GodsWill777- No, you don't have to "repent to God to be remade." That's incorrect. You have to BELIEVE on the Name of Jesus Christ to be "remade" which is the same thing as being Born Again by God's Spirit whereby you become a new creation birthed from Heaven that is incorruptible and identical to Jesus Christ in every way, despite your depraved human condition. This is WHY the the Bible says "this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and this mortal shall put on immortality" (1 Cor 15:53).

@GodsWill777- "Repenting to God" means admitting you're a sinner AND changing your mind from trying to be approved of by God by obeying His Laws, to trusting Jesus Christ by Faith to save you. This was the message of John the Baptist to the religious Jews who knew ONLY the Law and obedience to it for centuries. The Law's purpose was to reveal man's sinful condition in contrast to God's Holiness; condem self-justification; indict the world as utterly guilty before God; and bring sinners to Christ.
