our middle school chorus did this song and we perform it every year, we also perform it up to four times at different locations and in front of an edudicator. in my opinion, compared to our middle school chorus, this high school chorus was quite sloppy with their work and at times they sound like, what we call, old farmers XD
I love this song! My friends and I sang it in the Church at Mont-St-Michel. In my choir, we learn this song in Grade 5 (when we start) and it stays as a close for all our concerts until we graduate in Grade 12
OMG! i sang this song when i was in grade 2 and i only find it now... i knew i wasnt crazy when i was hearing it in my thoughts! I remember it always cried when singing it.
This version is written by Katie Moran Bart, in case anyone's interested in this particular version (SAB - soprano, alto, baritone). I think it may also be available in 2-part. Not too difficult - it's "do-able" for 8th grade chorus, and fairly easy for most high school choirs.
I love this version of the Irish Blessing. We sang it at my school in Australia too. Does anyone know who wrote this arrangment? I can't find my music for it :(
