Annual Wyland Weekend at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps

Each year, the Wyland Foundation and the Birch Aquarium at Scripps present a weekend celebrating clean water and healthy oceans to Southern California families. The Wyland Weekend at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps is filled with live painting events, educational activities, and fun for all ages. Participants will have the opportunity to paint with world-renowned marine life artist Wyland on a large canvas. Wyland is such a nice man, and he's definitely admirable!

Wyland is an awesome artist!! Saw him paint in Mallory Square in Key West in the 90's. He was so friendly and personable! And very Good Looking!

Great video. I've always admired Wyland's art because it is accessible-- from the dolphins in the beach park at Imperial Beach to the whales painted on the side of a building in Kapa'a, Hawaii and so many more. It is there for us to see and enjoy and to educate us to the unique beauty of the sea and the need to protect it.
