TBs TechTips 23 - Connecting the PF Receiver to 9V

Usually the Power Functions IR Receiver can't be powered from a standard 9V source, but there's a workaround. This video shows how to do it.

  • It's a 9V Train Speed Regulator, set #4548.

  • were do get the adapter capel

  • You can get it at LEGO Shop@Home. It's reference 8886. There's also a longer version, available to some countries, with reference 8871.
