Well, DUH! Of course its fake!
Mark Millar wrote this whole thing about Wells doing Batman, back in the day. So Wells wanting to do this film is the fake thing. (look it up on wiki) This guy just ran with the idea. And in an excellent way.

@RavnDream Conrad Veidt from The Man Who Laughs, the movie that inspired Jerry Robinson to create Batman´s nemesis. What you see there is the original Joker (The Man Who Laughs was released 11 years before the creation of Batman)

This is awesome. Wish I could hear Dietrich's final line though. But along with part 1 this makes me so hungry for a film that doesn't exist and never will!
